Paul Allen
was born in Toronto in 1952. He graduated from the Ontario College of Art in Toronto in 1975 and also attended the University of Alberta in 1980.
Paul has lived and worked with his wife, Pam, and their daughters, Amy and Rebecca, in the village of Marchmont just West of Orillia, Ontario since 1982.
An early interest in antique furniture led to building reproduction pieces which, in turn, led to the designing and building of Adirondack style, and twig furniture and accessories.
Paul has been successfully building custom furniture since 1990. He prefers to design his pieces with his customer's specific needs in mind. This leads to a special relationship between Paul and his customers - he likes their input and learns their likes and dislikes when it comes design elements. No two pieces are ever exactly alike as he is working with natural materials often found on the forest floor.

Pam Allen
has been designing and creating her collage-style brooches since 1990. A love of all things, old, odd and unusual has led Pam down this path to creating conversation-starting, wearable art.
The components in Pam's pieces date from between 1850 and 1980. As a result she can assure her customers of a piece that will not be duplicated. Each brooch has a character of its own and is named. Pam is also making necklaces from turquoise and other semi-precious stones.
Pam's studio has been a Stop on the Images Studio Tour, which takes place each Thanksgiving Weekend since 1990 and has taken part in Art Shows in
Muskoka, Toronto and Haliburton and has shown in local art galleries.
