Two years ago, after much research as to what was available, we were lucky enough to discover Paul Allen and his talent for building rustic furniture that is beautiful, sturdy and well crafted. His first project for us was a simple, yet striking, end table. We were so happy with it and enjoyed working with Paul so much that we then commissioned him to build two bathroom cabinets, a hall bench and a mantelpiece adorned with twig, birch and antlers - the focal point of our cottage. It's simply magnificent and never fails to delight! Paul is an artist of the first-order and a skilled craftsman above all. He fashions wonderful, reasonably priced, one-of-a-kind rustic pieces in his own right, yet also has the flexibility (and good humour) to incorporate the ideas and specifications of clients on custom orders. He has a keen sense of proportion and design, and knows how to combine the subtle colours, and textures of rustic building materials in ways that are truly remarkable.

As an interior decorator I've used Paul's services many times over the last ten years. He has built wonderful pieces for many of my clients as well as my personal home. He has always come through with beautiful work and innovative designs. His personal touch has always been a hit with my clients.
